I am a lifelong Christian, and a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have worked as a teacher, school volunteer and insurance office associate. With my husband Robin, we created, owned and managed the Round Barn Farm B&B&B (Bed, Breakfast, and Bread) from 2002 until 2017 when we sold it and moved into our new home – The Kleffman Cabin.
My favorite pastimes include gardening, needlework, and antiquing. I have been married to the love of my life, Robin Kleffman, for over 50 years and we have 4 wonderful children and 12 amazing grandchildren.
During the years when I managed and ran the B&B, I was often challenged to defend my belief in God’s word, amid false accusations from others in the community and Innkeepers industry. God clearly revealed how to creatively “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s” during that time and provided solutions to those difficult times. That experience forever shifted my denominational allegiance and gave me a new-found courage to stand on God’s Truth. I am presently a member of Hosanna Church in Northfield MN.
My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 – “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Life Application Bible)
Mark and Linda Triplett have powerfully experienced firsthand that God’s love never fails, even in the midst of tragedy and trials. They both have been an inspiration to Robin and me and quickly became lifelong friends. We met the Tripletts when they spent time at our B&B. They are eager to share their inspirational insights and experiences with everyone.
